“Freedom to do what I think is best for my clients.”

Moving a book of business was supposed to be difficult, according to fellow advisors who had joined other firms. That was not my experience. I was amazed by the ease of the process. The help I received from the Home Office transition specialists made all the difference.

At Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. our clients truly come first – and their needs are put ahead of our own and the firm. I am given the freedom to do what I think is best for my clients. I look forward to coming to work. It’s great to feel like we are on the same team.

“Meet clients when and wherever through our state-of-the-art technology.”

In addition to the knowledge and industry tenure of our team of Home Office professionals, the state-of-the-art mobile technology we have available gives us the ability to meet our clients when and wherever it is convenient for them.

The vast array of products and services are outstanding, and I have found our Home Office team’s commitment and ability to help solve unique and sophisticated client issues to be exceptional.

“Management’s relentless pursuit of solutions to meet our clients’ needs.”

When we opened, our branch successfully moved approximately 80 percent of our client assets within eight weeks. In fact, some of our clients added to their holdings during the process. Our success was largely based on an enormous amount of support from the transition team in the branch and our Home Office in St. Louis.

We had then and continue to have now access to management. This access would be meaningless if they didn’t share our concern for clients. That is what makes this firm second-to-none. They relentlessly pursue solutions with our clients in mind and work hard to improve each client’s experience.

“Putting clients first…it’s what we do.”

What a wonderful phone call it was to make to clients and let them know we joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. This was a positive change – certainly for us, and most especially for our clients.

Since arriving, it is quite clear that clients matter to Benjamin F. Edwards, and we – as advisors – matter to management. Where else can you pick up the phone and direct dial a senior executive, and they answer? Putting clients first – at this firm it’s not something we preach, it’s what we do.

“Having what you need to provide clients the service they deserve.”

Not only are the Home Office employees highly qualified, they are nice people. I have a contact in each Home Office department. That’s huge. They know you, and you know them. Things get done. They make sure of it. They genuinely care and follow up with you to make sure your needs are fully met.

The technology platform, tools, and service we have are outstanding. Our workstation is excellent and working remotely has never been easier. That’s important. Mobile technology allows me to provide exceptional service to my clients no matter where we are located. Whether I am using our contact management system, portfolio review software, or constructing financial illustrations, I have what I need to provide my clients the service they deserve.

Wealth and Investment Symposium

During this annual symposium BFE subject matter experts and industry leaders will address key strategies, trends and techniques facing the industry today. Attendees will have the opportunity to select from elective breakout sessions as well as share day-to-day, real-life experiences from servicing clients in an ever-changing economy.

Million Dollar Forum

This two-day program is intentionally developed with input from qualifiers to the Forum. Advisors participate in open dialogue during roundtable discussions, hear from home office and guest speakers on topics such as practical application of technology, business structure, and how to continue to distinguish themselves from the competition.

Rising Stars

This year-long program is designed for advisors who have achieved success and strive to reach new heights. Advisors will participate in an analysis of their book to identify where capacity may be created in their business. Determining the most effective activities, and by whom, along with defining or refining their service model will be cornerstones in the process.

Regional Idea Exchange and Sales Conference

BFE advisors from nearby geographical areas of the country gather for two half-day sessions to participate in discussions with Sales & Marketing professionals, idea sharing, and question and answer sessions. Participants learn from other advisors what’s working and share their own tips for success.

Leadership Forum

Elite advisors come together to celebrate successes, share their best practices, hear from industry leaders regarding trends in the industry, and participate in discussions about the strategic direction of the firm.

Edwards University

Edwards University is designed for young adult children of our advisors who are interested in a career in the wealth management industry. During the two-day program, participants will learn not only about the industry but also how Benjamin F. Edwards is different from other firms in the industry, what it’s like to be an advisor and the multitude of ways they help clients achieve their financial goals.
