Smith & Wood Wealth Management
My Professional Approach
When it comes to investment planning and preparing an investment approach that helps meet your needs, it all starts with trust. I also recognize we don’t earn that trust overnight. It develops over time in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect. This is precisely why I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., in 2015.
I take the time to get to know our client and their circumstances. It is, after all, those issues that will drive their financial goals and help form the framework of their financial plan. As we work together, I’ll ask a lot of questions and carefully listen to your responses. From there, we’ll work to put a plan together, and meet periodically to assess our progress. We’ll also use those meetings as an opportunity to update things and make changes, if necessary.
I began my financial services career in 2005 and I’m passionate about educating clients and helping them achieve their goals through proper planning and investment strategies.
In 2021, with the retirement of Bruce Hunter, our long-time partner, Jimmy Smith and I have continued our partnership under the name Smith & Wood Wealth Management.
Along with our associates Lila Touchstone and Marsha Maybe, we look forward to serving our current and future clients in the years to come.
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my wife, Carmen, and our three sons, Huxley, Hixon, and Hendrix. I also am an outdoor enthusiast, enjoy working out and reading. In addition, I’m an avid University of Georgia football fan.
