My Background
Dan Pietroburgo is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. He began his financial services career in 2014 and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2016. Prior to joining Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., Dan spent 11 years in Columbia, MO for both education and work. While studying towards his undergraduate degree, he played catcher for the University of Missouri baseball team where he was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team Selection. In addition, he was honored as the Big 12 Medal Winner which is awarded annually to the top male and female student-athlete at each conference institution. He was also an Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Missouri from 2010-2014.
Dan is active in the Springfield, IL community with a variety of professional and charitable organizations. He is a graduate of the 2016 “Leadership Springfield” program that aims to develop, strengthen, train, and equip local professionals to benefit the Springfield community. In addition, he serves as board member of the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois and is an active member of Young Philanthropists. In addition, Dan regularly provides investment commentary on WICS-TV (Springfield, IL; ABC Television, News Channel 20) and teaches an introductory investing course at Lincoln Land Community College.
Dan lives in Rochester with his wife, Andrea; and young children, Luke, Elle, and Mia. Outside of work he enjoys running, boating and live music. In addition, Dan is an avid Mizzou and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
