No two investors are alike.
Personal financial circumstances, risk tolerances, and investment time horizons are different for everyone. That’s why there aren’t any “cookie cutter” solutions found in my wealth management practice at the Chesterton, Indiana, office of Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. Here, I work with my clients individually, and help them develop an investment management approach tailored specifically to their unique financial needs.
Whether my clients are saving to send kids to college, planning for their retirement, or putting a plan in place to transfer their assets from one generation to the next, I can help. I have been doing just this since starting in the financial services business in 1994. In 2018, my partner, Jeff Fernandez, and I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. and helped open the Chesterton, Indiana, office. Why? Because we were drawn to this firm’s client-first philosophy and their corporate culture grounded in integrity, trust, and respect.

With nearly 30 years in financial services, I continue to teach various finance courses at Valparaiso University in the evenings.
I’ve lived in Valparaiso since 1978 with my wife Laura, who is an elementary school teacher, and our two dogs. Our two children are grown, and I am fortunate to work with my son-in-law, Jeff Fernandez, here at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co.
Also active in our community, I am a board member for Empower/Greater Good, which works with families to promote parent and children involvement through Love & Logic and substance abuse education. In addition, I also work with First Tee, an organization that helps children build character by concentrating on seven core principles reinforced through the game of golf.
In my spare time, I enjoy golf, hunting, travel, and cooking for friends.
