My Professional Background

As a financial advisor for 36 years and New Jersey native, I have worked closely with my clients to provide sound financial advice and insurance services that help them plan for and achieve their financial goals and objectives. I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2011 and helped open the firm’s Red Bank, N.J. office, which I also manage today. I began my financial services career in 1988 and moved to the Spring Lake office of A.G. Edwards in 1992. In 2004, I opened and managed that firm’s Red Bank location, and two years later, added management responsibilities for the Spring Lake office to my duties. After A.G. Edwards was sold, I served as a complex manager for the acquiring company. However, my first and most important passion is serving my clients and giving them the personalized service they deserve. Whether I am helping them plan for retirement, transition their wealth, or save for a child’s college education, I enjoy getting to know my clients and providing them with the advice and knowledge they need to help them meet their financial objectives.

I grew up in Sea Girt, New Jersey and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft. During my years at West Virginia Wesleyan College, I was a member of the NAIA National Soccer Championship teams in 1984 and 1985. Both teams are now in the WVWC Athletic Hall of Fame.

In addition to my professional responsibilities, community involvement is very important to me. Current member Sea Girt Elementary School Board of Education and President for the last five years. CCD Teacher at St. Mark’s Church in Sea Girt. I was the past president of the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, and past member of the Spring Lake/Sea Girt Little League Board of Directors.

My wife, Jamie, and I, along with our four children – Tess, Paige, Ian and Thomas – live in Sea Girt. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, golfing and spending time with my family. I am a member of the Spring Lake Golf Club.
