With over 17 years of experience as a financial advisor, Matt is committed to providing his clients with the guidance and support they need to achieve their financial goals and objectives. In 2025, Matt transitioned his financial advisory practice to Benjamin F. Edwards, where he specializes in pre- and post-retirement planning, estate planning, and general wealth management.

My Background

Matt is a two-time graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics. He also earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Marketing. Matt was the sole recipient of the MBA Most Outstanding Graduate Student Award for Excellence from the University of Southern Mississippi College of Business in 2007.

He is an active member of the Southern Miss Alumni Association. He currently serves as a finance committee member for the Southern Miss Alumni Association Foundation. He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society. Matt is married to his wife Cherie. They currently live in Biloxi, Mississippi. He has two grown stepchildren and two grandchildren. Away from the office, he enjoys exercising, traveling with his wife, playing golf, and attending live music concerts.
