MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Every investor is different. Whether they are planning for retirement, starting a business, saving for college, or establishing a new 401(k) plan for their employees – each investor has financial goals and objectives that are unique to them. As a result, it is essential to take the time to visit and get to know them and gain a thorough understanding of their financial needs. Helping people develop a personalized investment approach and put those plans into action is precisely why I moved into financial services and to A.G. Edwards in 1996, after working as a cash management consultant at Ernst & Young, LLP. In 2012, I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. to help open a branch for the firm in Leawood, Kan.
I am a believer in sound, analytical investment planning, and work with my clients to develop personalized wealth management approaches that help meet their needs. In addition to my years of experience, I also bring to the table the vast resources of Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. where I have access to a dedicated team of highly-experienced subject-matter experts, along with leading money managers and broad array of mutual fund families. I am also able to take advantage of the firm’s array of sophisticated planning and analytical tools to help evaluate portfolios and build goals-based investment plans that help address my clients’ needs.
My wife Laura and I have been married for over 28 years and are blessed with two adult children, Brett and Callie. Outside the office, I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, traveling and discovering new outdoor adventures with my family.
