MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Every investment plan begins with a conversation. I need to understand my client’s hopes and how they relate to their financial needs. Accordingly, it’s important for me to get a handle on the life events they are planning for, their investment time horizon, and their tolerance for risk. So when I sit down with a client, I listen, and cover these issues and many others. That’s how I am able to meet my goal of providing an actionable, goals-based investment approach designed specifically to help meet my client’s unique needs. I realize no two investors are alike, and it’s important to have a solid understanding of what drives my clients and their investment program.

I began my financial services career in 1989, and moved to Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2012 to help open and anchor the firm’s Leawood, Kan., location. Here I concentrate on serving my clients who are primarily affluent investors and business owners.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM professional, I use my analytical capabilities to assess my client’s current financial situations and help them develop long-term strategies designed to help them meet their financial goals and objectives. I also have access to the firm’s array of sophisticated planning and analytical tools, along with its team of highly-experienced subject-matter experts, leading money managers, and a broad array of mutual fund families.

I am a resident of Leawood, Kan., and am married with three children. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking and attending my kids’ sporting events. Giving back to the community is also important to me, and I am a member of the Fitzgibbon Hospital Fund Development Council and the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish.
