Don McBride

Donald D. McBride is Senior Vice President and Senior Counsel with Benjamin F. Edwards & Company. Prior to his current role, Don was a partner at two St. Louis law firms where he focused his practice on representing broker dealers, registered investment advisers and individual investment professionals in a wide array of litigation and regulatory matters throughout the United States. For two decades he has represented financial industry clients in federal and state courts, FINRA arbitrations, and in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings before FINRA, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and state securities regulators. Don has also argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern and Western Districts, and the Florida District Courts of Appeal.

Mr. McBride obtained a B.S.B.A. in economics in 2003 (summa cum laude) and a J.D. in 2006 (cum laude) both from Saint Louis University. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Co-Chair of his law firm’s Financial Services Industry Group where he provided leadership and support to other law firm attorneys who worked with clients in the sector. Don is admitted to both the Missouri and Illinois Bars.

Outside of work, Don enjoys spending time with his wife, Dana, and their two sons. He looks forward to any opportunity to barbecue, hike, camp, travel or otherwise spend time with his family.
