MY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH

My goal in my professional and personal life is to help people however I can. I am eager to help clients plan their financial future, from preparing for educational costs for a child to planning for retirement to passing wealth to the next generation. We’ll work together to map out a financial program that meets your specific needs and put it into action. But we don’t stop there. You’ll also benefit from ongoing personalized attention and follow-up that will keep you on track throughout your financial journey. I recognize the importance of taking the time to get to know you and understand your financial goals and objectives as we work to make your plan a reality.

MY BACKGROUND

I joined the Peoria, Ill., branch of Benjamin F. Edwards in August 2020, bringing with me 15 years of experience helping small businesses and families with their financial needs. Edwards’ business approach truly is client-centered, which is exactly what I wanted for my long-term and future clients.

Prior to joining Benjamin F. Edwards, I served as an Investment Advisor Representative with ABG Retirement Plan Investment Services, and before that I was a wealth management financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. I have served individuals as well as small- and medium-sized businesses with their retirement-planning needs. My passion is to help my clients feel secure in their financial future and aid them in meeting their goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Anne, and our two dogs, Marlin and Bonnie.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

The Central Illinois area is blessed with a wide variety of nonprofits to support the varying needs in our community. I serve on the Board of Directors for several of these nonprofits and also volunteer my time for events and other projects. I am also involved with the Heart of Illinois United Way as a member of the Financial Audit Committee. Every August since 2011, I combine my passion for community involvement and physical fitness as I run from St. Louis to Peoria to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
