My Professional Background – David Hanson

With my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM certification, I analyze my clients’ short- and long-term needs, help them to assess their financial goals, and then develop a strategy to achieve them. At Benjamin F. Edwards, I rely on sophisticated analytical tools that help me facilitate retirement, estate planning and insurance evaluations, while also providing investment and risk management advice and portfolio reviews.

After nearly 30 years of investment experience primarily at A.G. Edwards (now Wells Fargo), I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in March 2010 and helped open the firm’s Wheaton, IL location, which was the company’s seventh overall.

My wife and I have three children and reside in Wheaton. My hobbies include fishing, gardening, traveling and camping. I enjoy volunteering in the community and have served as a deacon with Harvest Bible College in Naperville and as a board member for the Ulster Project and Koinonia House National Ministries. I have also worked as a board consultant for Missionary Sisters Health Care Systems.
