When it comes to investment planning and preparing an investment approach that helps meet your needs, it all starts with trust. I also recognize we don’t earn that trust overnight. It develops over time in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect. This is precisely why I joined Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. in 2019.

I am passionate about helping individuals and business owners meet their financial goals and giving back to my community. I will take the time to get to know you and your circumstances. It is, after all, those issues that will drive your financial goals and help us form the framework for your financial plan. As we work together, I’ll ask a lot of questions and carefully listen to your responses. From there, we’ll work to put a plan together, and meet periodically to assess your progress. We’ll also use those meetings as an opportunity to update things and make changes, if necessary.

I became a financial advisor in early 2016 after working at The Boeing Company for over twelve years as a Contracts Administrator.  While working at Boeing, I also taught a course in Contract Negotiations as an adjunct instructor at Saint Louis University in the School for Professional Studies.

In 2015, I was appointed by the Mayor of Maryville, IL to serve on the Maryville Community Improvement Board, a volunteer committee that develops programs to benefit residents and served on the 2021 Comprehensive Plan Committee for the Village of Maryville.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and watching my son’s hockey games.  I volunteer at fundraisers to support various causes that affect my family, friends and clients.  I take the knowledge gained from these experiences to work closely with clients on the issues most important to them in order to customize a financial plan that is both personal and meaningful.

I am Series 7 / Series 66 and Insurance licensed, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA).  I earned a Master’s of Business Administration from Saint Louis University in 2007 and a B.S. Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2004.

WHAT IS A CDFA®? In addition, the designation is subject to renewal requirements every two years, which includes the completion of 15 divorce-related hours of continuing education.

WHAT IS A CFP®? A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, or CFP®, certification means a financial advisor has successfully completed a rigorous training program followed by a comprehensive 6-hour exam administered in accordance with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board of Standards. Professionals who are awarded this accreditation demonstrate skill in analyzing situations and developing personalized long-term financial strategies. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in the U.S.
