In 2018, I helped open the Champaign, Ill., office for Benjamin F. Edwards Co. Why? Because after nearly 30 years in the financial services industry, I understood how important this company’s special brand of client-first service is as I work with my clients to prepare a financial approach that will help them work toward their life goals and objectives.
There aren’t any cookie cutter approaches to wealth management at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. They recognize – as I do – that investment profiles of every individual and family are unique. Therefore, my role as a financial advisor is to get to know my clients, understand what their financial goals are, and work to chart a course to accomplish them.
Whether saving for a house, a comfortable retirement, or to send a child to school, I will sit down with you. I will get to know you, work to get a detailed view of your financial and investment situation, and understand your tolerance for investment risk. We will then work together to develop a wealth management approach that will help get you there.
Once we’ve chartered a wealth management course, we don’t stop there. We’ll also get together periodically to assess our progress and make adjustments when necessary.
For me, that’s what Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. client first financial advice and service are all about. It’s why I helped start a Champaign, Ill., location for this firm, and it is why I hope you will give me a call. I’d love to show you what this is all about.
Outside of work, I serve on the board of the Illini Quarterback Club and am active in my church. My wife Diane and I have been married for more than 30 years and have two children, including Matt, who works with me here at Benjamin F. Edwards & Co..
In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, tennis, exercise, racket ball, and strength training. I am also an avid college football fan, and attend all of the University of Illinois football and basketball games.
